在2012年，為了在跑鞋界大展拳腳，NIKE以Flyknit技術打造了當年的旗艦級跑鞋，這款革命性的設計除了採用獨特的編織造鞋技巧外，其減輕重量的同時又貼合腳形亦是一大創新概念，5年間的Flyknit Racer由初代人人爭着Multicolor、oreo配色、一鞋難求、得到過《TIME》雜誌2012年十大最佳發明之一的大勢下，到及後發展到近期才推出的全黑和全白色，都見證着廿多對配色的光輝，然而一大潮物亦有退下來的一天，接棒的是Mariah Flyknit Racer。

全新跑鞋 Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit
期待多時，接替王者地位的Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit，以誕生於1981年並曾在1988年復刻的經典跑鞋Air Mariah為設計原型，作為OG款亦以Air Mariah的白紅藍作領航，在鞋形的輪廓上明顯帶有Flyknit Racer的影子，但鞋領位則融合襪套式設計，使跑者易於穿脫，而Air Zoom緩震科技則能減輕雙腳步行或跑步時的衝擊感，另一個明顯改動是加入腳踭的穩定器，加強實際跑步時的實用。早在多個月前已傳出Flyknit Racer停產的消息，加上Mariah Flyknit Racer一口氣推出Oreo、Multicolor、OG等大熱配色，新一代潮、跑兩用的王者就在今個夏天誕生。
